Physical property:

It is colorless gas at normal temperature and pressure, with a higher density than air, and a critical temperature of 161 ℃. Soluble in water, ethanol and ether.

Purpose:

Preparation of pharmaceuticals, pesticides, photographic materials, rubber auxiliaries, explosives, chemical fiber solvents, strong basic anion exchange resins, dye levelling agents, surfactants and basic dyes.
